Sensirion introduces innovative micro CO2 sensors

     STCC4's superior form factors, cost effectiveness and low power consumption enable it to better support a range of mass-market CO2 monitoring applications. Sensirion has announced that its latest line of CO2 sensors will be available in the second half of 2024.

     The STCC4 is one of the smallest sensors ever available to directly measure CO2 concentration and is designed to be seamlessly integrated into compact electronic devices, providing a new solution for CO2 monitoring applications that are currently plagued by size and cost. The sensor is one of the pioneering products in the current CO2 sensor market.

     With advanced and proven thermal conductivity sensing technology, STCC4 delivers the precision required for indoor air quality applications with low power consumption. When used with Sensirion temperature and humidity sensors, STCC4 can flexibly adapt to environmental changes, enabling accurate signal compensation and monitoring of related indoor environmental parameters. In addition, the STCC4 also has a superior performance in power consumption, it consumes less current, which can support more low-power applications.

     Developed and manufactured in Switzerland, the STCC4 can be easily integrated into a wide range of high-volume applications, including indoor air quality monitors, smart thermostats, air conditioning and more, by optimizing SMD assembly and tape packaging.
