The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has made it play a crucial role in various fields. However, the demand for AI applications is growing, and the consumption of energy resources is also increasing. Therefore, artificial intelligence needs to achieve breakthroughs in energy in the future to meet the growing energy demand.

Therefore, artificial intelligence needs to achieve breakthroughs in energy in the future to meet the growing energy demand.

     At present, the training and execution process of artificial intelligence requires a lot of computing resources, which includes facilities such as servers, data centers and cloud platforms, which have a huge demand for power supply. In this case, how to provide enough clean and sustainable energy becomes an important issue.

     To solve this problem, one possible technological breakthrough is nuclear fusion technology. Nuclear fusion, a process that releases energy when light atomic nuclei are combined into heavier ones, is the main source of energy for the Sun and stars. Unlike nuclear fission, fusion releases more energy and does not produce high-level radioactive waste.

     Although fusion technology has been studied over the past few decades, there are still challenges to achieving its commercial application. However, there are a number of international collaborative projects working to develop more advanced nuclear fusion reactors, such as the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). The success of fusion technology will provide cheap, sustainable energy in the future and provide strong support for artificial intelligence applications.

     In addition to nuclear fusion, other energy breakthroughs are constantly being researched. Renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and tidal power are widely used and improving. New battery technologies and energy storage systems are also evolving to meet the needs of energy-intensive applications.

     Future AI requires interdisciplinary cooperation and in-depth research into energy technologies to achieve breakthroughs in energy demand. This involves experts in physics, engineering, materials science, computer science, and more working together to ensure that AI is sustainable and brings enormous economic and social benefits to society around the world.

     All in all, AI needs to make breakthroughs in energy in the future to meet its growing energy needs. Fusion technology is a solution with great potential, but at the same time it needs to continue to innovate and develop in other areas such as renewable energy and energy storage technologies. Only through interdisciplinary collaboration will we be able to support AI with sustainable, clean and efficient energy.
