SN75LVPE5412 is a four channel linear heavy driver with integrated multiplexer (demux). Low power high performance linear redrive design supports PCIe 5.0 and other interfaces up to 32 Gbps. The SN75LVPE5412 receiver uses a continuous time linear equalizer (CTLE) to provide high frequency gain. Equalizer can open a completely closed input eye due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) caused by interconnecting media such as PCB traces and cables.

Texas Instruments SN75LVPE5412 is a four-channel linear heavy driver with integrated multiplexer (demux). Low power high performance linear redrive design supports PCIe 5.0 and other interfaces up to 32 Gbps. The SN75LVPE5412 receiver uses a continuous time linear equalizer (CTLE) to provide high frequency gain.

 

Equalizer can open a completely closed input eye due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) caused by interconnecting media such as PCB traces and cables. During PCIe link training, the linear redriver and the passive channel between the root complex (RC) and the endpoint (EP) are trained as a whole to get the best send and receive balanced Settings, resulting in the best electrical link.

 

Low channel-to-channel crosstalk, low attached jitter, and excellent return loss make the device an almost passive element in the link. The device features an internal linear voltage regulator that provides clean power for high speed data paths and high immunity to on-board noise. SN75LVPE5412 achieved high speed testing of reliable high volume manufacturing during production. The device has low AC and DC gain variations to provide consistent equalization in high-volume platform deployments.
