Vishay Intertechnology has announced the launch of a new family of AEC-Q200 certified dual-circuit thin film resistance networks, the NOMCA series. The series features an absolute TCR as low as ±25ppm/ ° C, a TCR tracking of 5ppm/ ° C, a strict ratio tolerance of ±0.05%, and a long-term ratio stability of 0.05% after 1000 hours of operation at +125 ° C.

In order to improve ESD and moisture resistance, a self-passivated tantalum nitride resistance film is constructed on a high purity aluminum or ceramic substrate.

     The NOMCA thin film resistance network features a robust, 50mil pitch injection molded structure that provides seven or eight identical and isolated resistors in a small, narrow strip (0.150 in) 14pin or 16pin SOIC package. Meets the requirements of JEDEC MS-012 variations AB and AC. The resistance value of each resistor ranges from 1kΩ to 50kΩ, and the typical power class is 100mW.

     The integrated architecture of the NOMCA resistance network enables higher accuracy than vertical SMT chips, making the device ideal for precision voltage dividers, operational amplifiers, and battery management applications. Typical end products include automotive, telecommunications equipment, industrial equipment, process control, and medical equipment.

     The resistance network has passed the various certifications of AEC-Q200, and the ESD of devices with resistance values less than 10kΩ is 1kV, and the ESD of devices with resistance values greater than 10kΩ is 2kV. The noise of the device is less than -30dB, the voltage coefficient is less than 0.1ppm/V, and it can work in the temperature range of -55 ° C to +125 ° C. NOMCA resistor networks comply with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and comply with the halogen-free requirements of IEC 61249-2-21.
